I’m guessing we had our last Indian summer day, as the temperatures reached the low 80’s, but a stiff bay breeze made it the type of day that you wanted not to end.
I just had to get out of my office cave to maintain my sanity, as in an early morning meeting with my client I actually uttered a profanity.
It turns out that it was an effective means of making my point. However it could just as well been a predictable means to lose a client!
Solomon’s Island is a hop a way from Piney Point, on the other side of the Patuxent River. If Annapolis is the sailing capital of the world, Solomon’s runs a close second.
What burns me is all these wonderful vessels sit in the water for 99% of their lives. No matter as I had some local oysters and crab and all was well.
I am enjoying this time. California and Mexico are coming soon, just about when winter hits Maryland in full force.
