This was my favorite temple in Busan. The four Heavenly Kings standing guard in a gate house through which all visitors must pass to enter.
Above the temple is a hiking path alongside a small stream which leads to the summit. It was likely the most awesome hike I have every taken.
The monks from Beomeosa Temple are famed for defeating Japanese invaders during the late 16th century and again during the Japanese occupation of Korea in the early 20th century.
Likely I will be traveling to Asia and Europe again this year. I can’t wait!
