As not much is going on here in the middle of nowhere at this time of the year, I thought I give myself a boost by improving the pathetic quality of the delivery of my digital music. So I spent $400 on these P7s.
Trust me – it’s gotten better of late. Apple’s 256kps AAC upgrade ages ago seemed like heaven to millennials, most of whom have never heard different.
The P7s certainly make the crap I that I have brought from iTunes sound a hell of a lot better. Spotify’s 320kps “Extreme” is well worth the tens bucks a month, and proves the P7’s are worth the 400 bucks – almost. Better stuff is coming.
Now only if we could get back to the awesome analog fidelity that we had in the 1970’s with a good Kenwood Amp, Shure Phono Cartridge and Koss Headphones!
It’s coming, it’s all coming back – slowly. Meanwhile, no regrets over the P7 purchase!
