For more times than I can recall, I would walk down Columbus Avenue in San Francisco approaching the Trans America Building wanting to stop for lunch at Francis Coppola’s famed Café Zoetrope, but it was either crowded or closed.
Not this time – it was empty and the waiters were bored.
