I’m no prepper and no fan of canned food, but California is challenged with wildfires, earthquakes, mudslides, flash floods, visits from tRump and even tsunamis. And now a possible pandemic.
So, I went on an Amazon Pantry binge, stocked up at whim, and will find a way to cycle all this so to keep it edible if needed.
In the truck, I packed a four-season two-person tent, sleeping bags, towels, spare clothes and two life straws. Really, all that is planned for spontaneous one-night wilderness adventures, but I could set up a temporary home in my back yard if the big one comes.
