Indian Creek Bridge
I moved into my modern apartment here in Blacksburg over the weekend, but support a client over in West Virginia, and I must say there is a world of difference, but a few miles apart. Get up in the hills and the norm for the guys is beards, baseballĀ caps and a worn out tee shirt with some cute (or not so cute) message.

Life in Mexico seems a distant memory. Dodging deer on a twisting two lane road in dense fog seems my biggest short-term challenge. I am not sure if I will master it.
Ah, but the quality of life a small university town is awesome! There’s a fantastic farmer’s market. Even the summer heat and humidity at this higher elevation makes life bearable. Yet likely I will spend two weekends a month back in Piney Point, as I have many projects in process.
