Well, it was a temporary state of depression, as it was a rare 85°F today, and I wasted it behind my computer, not leaving the house until 5 p.m. Tomorrow our temperatures return to a seasonal normal (mid-60’s).
Monterey Fish House (featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives) is our local little gem, where one can find the best seafood with Sicilian flare. Unlike the dozens of tourist traps in Monterey, this seafood comes from the source, not a refrigerated delivery truck.
I opted for takeout today and feasted on my patio. I’ll get two meals meal out of this and will be back for some Sicilian Holiday Pasta next visit.
