The drive from Las Vegas to Monterey was not as harrowing as driving through the Rockies in a blizzard two nights before. I-15 to Hwy 58 through the desert was a breeze. The Tehachapi Pass was a pain simply because the road was in such poor condition, it felt like I could bounce the truck off the road. I didn’t and rolled into my shop after dark on Wednesday.
I rented a second storage area right above the shop with a stunning view of the airport. It took all morning on Thursday to unload the truck. It will take weeks to sort all this stuff. Lots of it will be repurposed, sold, or junked.
It will be a physical (lots of boxes to move) but fun weekend sorting through it all. I am at peace and perfectly content.
