Back in 1992, I left Los Angeles to join an odd little company in Davis, California called Moller International. The founder, Dr. Paul Moller had a lifelong dream of building a safe, affordable flying car – the M400 Skycar. Back then, the promising technology was the Wankel Rotary Engine because of its superior power-to-weight ratio.
