Yup – well just as soon as the county inspector says I can pull the switch. A $400 electric bill last winter (in an all-electric house) prompted me to do a little investigating – plus one of my neighbors has a similar setup with positive reviews.
The fact that I own Solar City stock (bought after it crashed) may have had some influence. I’m not sure if Tesla’s intent to buy Solar City will help or hurt me in the market, but I know I will get some relief as we approach the brutally hot/humid mid-Atlantic summer months.
Now if I could only find a way to shave off the cost of my cable and mobile phone bills in a similar matter . . . alas only wishful thinking at this time.
