My first “road trip” in Korea was sponsored by the Starwood Chosen Hotel in Busan.
Although I did have a rental car, navigating outside the city was still something I was reluctant to do, as staying in a 5-star hotel located at Korea’s most famous beach was just fine for me.
Yet the visit to the temple was magical, in spite of all the commercialism around and in it.
It would be fun to return and actually speak to a monk to better understand its meaning.
I did make a second visit and I have yet to find the photos of that event.
I will in time.
