The go everywhere camera that shoots hi-def everything in so many formats that I am confused!
So, long story short – some hippy surfer dude sells beaded belts to finance his dream of an on-camera surfboard experience and venture capitalist come and build this in China by the millions.
It seems cheaply made but shoots super hi-def video when jumping out of an airplane or diving to 200 feet.
I totally missed this development, but got the Hero 3 Black this last weekend. To make it work, one has to upgrade the firmware and buy a bunch of add-ons. So I have yet to play with it until next weekend which will be my first real weekend in Blacksburg at the Steppin’ Out Festival.
The good news is that I am done moving stuff from Piney Point to Blacksburg. I need only head home once a month or so. So I am so looking forward to creating stuff with all my new tools (toys), and not having to drive 400 miles round-trip every weekend. Cool stuff coming!
