Travel through Times Square during the day and it appears as filthy and chaotic as much (most) of New York.
Walk through by night, and a different reality sets in. Why this is all here, I am not sure? But they come from around the world to see.
My business downtown ended after lunch, so I decided to be a tourist for a day. I could live here, but the overwhelming complexity of how all these people survive is incomprehensible.
NYC is a fascinating place, but it sucks money out of one by the minute. Time to go home.
