Piney Point is Somewhere Buried Beneath the Clouds
Why is it that they name earthquakes after the city closest to their epicenter and hurricanes get people names? I’m in sunny Mexico and life is near perfect. But my house in Piney Point, Maryland is again under attack. My friend Raul is manning the fort, but has clear instructions to bail out if needed.
It is going to be a horrific event for millions of people. Short of one of the tall pines crashing into my house, things are looking positive for Piney Point. As the hurricane will likely pass while still in the Atlantic, its counter-clockwise winds will pull water out of the Potomac River Tidal Waters – maybe.
I’ve been through six hurricanes and five earthquakes. One more to go!
