Just a few miles south of Monterey is Point Lobos State Reserve – likely one of the most beautiful parks on the planet. I opted to visit on a Monday, not planning for our first day of “June Gloom.” I must say, the fog made for an eerie, somewhat magical experience.
Although a skilled photographer can capture great shots in all weather conditions, mine looked foggy for the most part. So, when the fog retreats out to the Pacific and the sun break through, it is a wonderful event after weeks of rain.
