My house on the Potomac is located where the faint green cross is placed. We are out of the area of high winds and storm surge, but still may get massively heavy rains.
I moved the boat safely into storage yesterday. Today and tomorrow we lug the furniture into a 10’ X 15’ storage area with the aid of a U-haul van. I sold my two kayaks to my neighbor, and my heavy tread mill to a guy whose doctor told him to start working out or else.
I expect lots of sore muscles over the next few days, but that is nothing compared to the challenges of the folks south of me will endure. I wish them the best.
