I decided long ago that the van will have no propane (or any gas) heating or cooking. Induction ranges likely are the future and this Cuisinart may not end up in the van but serves as a mock-up. I have carefully downsized the induction cookware to fit. Every item that goes into the van interior will be carefully chosen.
Here I can see, that in the CAD model, I did not allow enough space for the 2-burner range, and a large cutting board, both of which will be installed in the cabinetry, not sitting on it.
For fun, I am planning a weekly segment on creating 2-burner meals in 15 minute or less. Meanwhile the crowds have left Monterey after the AT&T Pro-Am and we have a glorious sunny week ahead in the mid 70’s – rare for this time of year.
