The amazing journey comes to an end at the Belagio
Well, a sick little boy changed our travel plans, likely for the better. My friend Nanette warned me that kids that age do not travel well. Given she has two kids that age and travels a lot, she knows.
So, I cancel the drive, we hop a flight to Las Vegas, see dolphins, white lions, “O” and a host of other things, and all is well. We finish off the trip with a helo ride to the Grand Canyon. Our little boy traveler did not puke until the very end of the ride – and so brave after he did.
A last minute ride to the top of the Eiffel Tower and a quick brunch, and, after almost missing our flight, we are home to El Dorado Hills by sunset. Just about perfect!
Today I returned to my client, and my guests relaxed by the pool. This evening I prepared a special seafood spaghetti dinner and we watched Netflex movies late into the night. How perfect is that?
Soon they return home. I am not sure how I will deal with that. Yet we will all remember the experience for a lifetime, or, in the case of Jay Hawk, will have many photos and videos afer his childhood memory fades.
Ah, life is good.
