A former $900,000 home can be had for a short term rental for a week’s pay!
Next Sunday at this hour I will have driven back from Tampa to Piney Point and will expect a hectic day on Monday in preparation of my migration to California. I booked a Virgin America flight into San Francisco with a late afternoon departure, so all will be well. My client will transport my car so I can work rather than waste a week in the drive.
I decided should I move back to California, I simply want a private house with a pool. Well it turns out, given properties values have plummeted up to 50% in the bankrupt state capital, it is a short-term renters market.
Now I really don’t need five bedrooms and three baths. All I want is a heated pool so I can start swimming again. Yet options like this are viable. I can’t wait to do some serious negotiation (the backyard pool to this place is incredible).
Meanwhile I have another week of working my butt off. I can’t wait to be on the Virgin America flight (with 1st class upgrade) to SFO!
Of course if I can’t find my dirt-cheap dream home, the loft right next to Governor Jerry Brown is available for the same price at one fourth the square footage. Decision, decisions!
