A noisy gang of crows descended on the neighborhood just before sunset in a display reminiscent of Hitchcock. There were hundreds, and I have never seen anything like it.
Some were even marching down the street. I was slow to grasp what was going on, but it was like crow revolution. Then they moved on to the next neighborhood.
The Trader Joe’s in Santa Cruz has got to be one of the best in the country with fresh everything (lots of free parking as well). Ahi tuna, bell peppers, mushrooms and sweet onions was all I needed for dinner.
