Thanks to the COVID pandemic, I am about a year behind in my Sprinter Van conversion. But I am alive and healthy, so no complaints.
The current problem is that I can’t find an existing van with all the cool tech options that I want. So likely I will have to order one. And of course, at my age, I don’t want to take on any debt, so I will need about $50K to make the buy.
The good news is it takes only $2500 to custom order a van with all the options I want. The bad news is takes about six months for delivery.
No worries, as the mockup will be used both as a prototype and as the master patterns to build the mold for the interior components.
It helps to have a friend do all the hard work – and he works for food and beer!
