It’s funny how an unanticipated hardship forces us to some form of redirection. It happens daily, and can either strengthen us or, at worst, destroy us.
Sure, a corrupted file on WordPress that renders IE looking really dumb is hardly a life-changing event given all the really life-changing events that happen with real consequences every day on this sphere we call home. But given I am dreadfully afraid of the process to fix the old site at this time, I opted for an easier option: move the site to a back-up.
Here it is, just being born! I took the header photo today from my pier. It’s a simple and clean restart of a simple and clean Thesis Themes WordPress Blog – all up-to-date and fresh on a new super-fast server!
So I will fix the old carbonboy.com site – in time. Meanwhile this is the place of my current attention. I think it must become far more thought-provoking, far more cutting edge quality inducing, somewhat more provocative and totally more fun than the old carbonboy site.
Spring is coming and I just ordered a new Nikon D7000. I can’t wait to capture life in 2011 – here in Piney Point, my 2nd home in Philadelphia and, of course, New York City and the many places in between.
